[EN/SE] Sweden Winter Tour (not Ski)

SQLUG-träff med Tobiasz Janusz Koprowski i Stockholm 12/2 (Föresläsningen efterföljs av föreningens årsmöte) och i Malmö 13/2.

imageEven I not speak Swedish I’m really happy to write: is just week till my first Sweden Tour (and I’m sure is not the last one). I have four meetings scheduled, all of them are focused of community, and two of them will be my new opportunity for first public speaking this year. Most important meetups will happen only because of invitation and great support from board members of SUGUK.se Johan Åhlén (President) and Lars Utterström (Secretary) and I’m sure some hidden volunteers in both meetups city. Detailed information I copied from Sweden SQL Server User Group site and they are below. It will be very special day in Stockholm based on sentence: Föresläsningen efterföljs av föreningens årsmöte which (if I translate it correctly) means that this group will have annual meetup. For me it means: it could be very busy evening with many of local folks. Exciting!

*****

A little bit different meetups I planning for early afternoon on Thursday and for Saturday. Coffe and talks at Stockholm’s office of Tretton37 the knowledge-based company that helps our clients achieve their goals by delivering customized & well-crafted software solutions, utilizing primarily the .NET platform with help of agile and lean development approaches. But why Tretton37? Is one of most influenced company for me with general ideas about team working, knowledge based project and succesfull implementations.

[EN] TechNet UK IT Pro New Year’s Honours List

Twenty Five Heroes. I’m very happy to know few of them, and I’m very sad to hadn’t chance to meet others. I hope in this year I wil meet some of those Heroes honoured by TechNet UK New Year’s list. I’m glad to know Jen Stirrup, James Rowland-Jones, Chris Rhodes andChriss Webb, I heard about Ed Jones, Linda Smith, Peter Bryant.

I really like this idea which came from Microsoft techNet UK. It’s really sad that I cannot find any of this honourable list prepared by Microsoft in Poland. We have a lot of great people and it would be great to honoured all of them.
