[PL] PLSSUG we Wrocławiu po raz 46 (mój ostatni w tym roku)

W miniony czwartek miałem okazję uczestniczyć – po raz pierwszy jako zwykły uczestnik – w 46 Spotkaniu Polskiej Grupy Użytkowników SQL Server {STRONA GRUPY} we Wrocławiu {STRONA SPOTKANIA}. Tym razem spotkanie w zasadzie nie dla mnie bo poświęcone tematyce BI (Business Intelligence), ale trochę związane ze mną poprzez Pyramid Analytics, międzynarodową firmę tworzącą lekkie, a niesamowicie wydajne narzędzie do tworzenia super-interaktywnych raportów w przeglądarce oraz przech trzech produktach biurowych: PowerPoint (Red Tool), Excel (Green Tool), Word (Blue Tool) opartych prawie w całości na MDX, którego w ogóle – zupełnie, zupełnie – nie dotykamy!

Gościem spotkania był Niv Feldman {TWITTER} z Pyramid Analytics, który nie dość, że przyleciał specjalnie do Wrocławia (wylot z warszawy o 13:30, powrót do Warszawy o 21:00) na nasze spotkanie, to jeszcze w półtorej godziny doprowadził do tego, że w przerwie po spotkaniu po długiej ciszy było słychać: oh, ah, niesamowite, mega i jakiś taki smuteczek od uczestników tworzących raporty w innych narzędziach… że u nas tak się nie da. Spotkanie prowadził nowy lider grupy Roman Czarko-Wasiutycz, który poza aktywnym działaniem przy SQLDay, SQLDay Lite oraz w Zarządzie Stowarzyszenia PLSSUG, podjął się trudu pracy ze społecznością lokalną.
