[EN] SQL Server 2014 RTM Cumulative Update #11 is available!

In December SQL Server Release Services Team released two update packs. Both for SQL Server 2014. Second Cumulative Update no 11 {build no 12.0.2560.0} is for SQL Server 2014 in RTM (Release To Manufacture) version.

This update (VSTS BUG: 5285700 | 321185) introduces a new global property that exposes the latest CU number that is currently installed on the SQL Server. After you install this update, you can obtain the CU number information by executing either of the following queries:

          SELECT @@VERSION
          SELECT SERVERPROPERTY(‘PRODUCTUPDATELEVEL)

Additionally, this update also adds the CU number information to the first line of the SQL Server error log.

On May 18th Microsoft released two packages of updates. First is the Cumulative Update No 16 {build no 11.0.3492.0) for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 SP1 RTM and Microsoft fixed last four errors. The short list of fixed bugs are available below. But most important messge from this release are:
