One year after last Licensing Guide (about SQL Server 2008 R2),  In April too; The Microsoft Licensing team published vey new, fresh  not very big, but very important document. On twenty one pages You can find excellent explanation abouimaget Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Licensing, including:

  • upgrades, downgrades
  • physical, virtual and both
  • migration
  • software assurance, links and FAQ section
